Paid yearly, got email hours later with deeper discount

After much deliberation, I finally paid for a yearly subscription using the 40% app of the year promo. (~$4 per month).
Just hours later I get an email from the Drops team saying I could subscribe for ~$2 per month.

That is kind of a kick in the nuggets. Any way I can have the subscription refunded and subscribe using the new offer?
